Your Made in Star tray features a built-in NFC (Near Field Communication) chip embedded directly in the back. By default, the first tap opens this page. The chip ships 100% unlocked, so you can reprogram it to open any website, social profile, or other digital link you choose.
1. Turn on NFC on Your Phone
iPhone: NFC is always on. Hold the top edge of your iPhone near the pill icon on the back of the tray.
Android: Open Settings → Connected devices → Connection preferences → turn NFC on. Tap the back center of your phone against the tray.
2. Download the App
To rewrite the chip, download the free NFC Tools app by wakdev from the App Store or Google Play. Look for the orange square icon with a white smartphone and the letter N.
3. Write Your New Link
Open the NFC Tools app.
Tap the Write tab at the top of the screen.
Select Add a record → URL / URI.
Paste your link into the text field, then tap OK or Validate. If you copied the link from a browser, do not add a second https:// in the box.
Tap the Write / X Bytes button.
Hold your phone close to the pill icon on the back of the tray until the app shows a green checkmark.
Your tray will now open that link when it is tapped.
Made in Star does not collect or write your links for you.
